The History of Davenport House Clinic Davenport House was built in 1858 and we have recently celebrated its 150th anniversary. The house stands proud at the top of Cheetham Hill Road with beautiful views to the hills and towards Stalybridge Industry. Davenport House’s gardens would originally have extended to Buckley Street, but over the years land was sold off to members of the family, and the original stables demolished.
