The word physiotherapy conjures up different images to different people. Physiotherapists don’t just treat sports injuries (although they are very good at that), they treat back pain, neck and knee pain, headaches, postural problems and much much more. If a movement causes pain or discomfort there is a good chance a physio will be able to help you.

Is physiotherapy for me?

A physio will explain what is causing your problems, and allow you to understand why they have chosen a particular treatment, and also why they may give you certain exercise to do between sessions. A good physio will be there through the process for you, and will aim to have you functioning at the highest level possible.
